The Byzas Research Centre brings to the industry a purpose built, modern, light and airy research facility. Located close to the town centre of Ruthin, a central market town in the Vale of Clwyd. The area has a mixed demographic and age catchment. The centre has ample free parking and attracts consumers from a wide area.

The centre has been designed with flexible research in mind. The sensory room can be arranged as shown, with booths for exercises where the control of interaction is important. The booths are constructed in white acrylic and are equipped with pass through hatches for ease. Alternatively, the booths can be folded away for a seminar or exam style room layout. In either configuration, computers are available for efficient data capture.

The sensory room is complemented by a fully equipped kitchen. Storage for ambient, chilled and frozen food is available. The preparation area is fitted with dual air extraction, fitted over the main cooking area and above the serving bench. Being situated between the sensory room and the focus group area, the kitchen conveniently can serve both.

The focus group area is a comfortable, neutral environment, with flexible configurations. Equipped with discrete digital video recording, which can be viewed on the large screen, without distraction to the participants. All areas are fitted with full climate control.
